Manege Square And Tverskaya Street

Manege Square And Tverskaya StreetMoscow Views

Do you remember the girl who stands on a Zero Mile mark?
Here you can see the exact view she sees standing on that mark.

To the right you see the facade of the renovated building of MOSCOW hotel. It is still under renovation and fenced.
To the left you see the facade of another hotel – NATIONAL hotel.
The building with chimes of top is Central Telegraph of Moscow City.
The lower part of the next building is decorated with red granite. This is that very granite, Hitler ordered to deliver to Russia from Finland to create the triumphal arc to commemorate the victory of Nazi over the USSR. Yes, that granite was used but a bit differently.
The street is the main street of Moscow (the very beginning of it) – Tverskaya sreet. It continues as a highway to the city of Tver and then to Saint-Petersburg.
